If you are looking for a pure user to beat the absolute living heck out of, look no further.
These are the first production run of Tyrant Bowies that came off the mill with a few tool marks around the plunge line that were too deep to grind out during my hand finishing process.
The ones with lighter tooling marks that I could grind clean became the Deathly Hollow Edition, but for the rest, the tool marks are here to stay and I’m offering them at an absolutely massive discount.
I’ve finished these out by grinding in a small bevel to bring the edge thickness into spec, and given them a stonewashed finish. They have visible grit marks on the flats and some spots on the bevels were the surface is a bit blemished, but these are still 100% fully functional, warrantied blades that can absorb years or decades of the nastiest abuse possible and keep on ticking.
The tool marks actually help reduce sticking and binding when chopping and prevent food from sticking to the blade when you do food prep at the campsite, so the tool marks are not without their advantages.
These are about an ounce heavier overall than the standard version and as such, have even more durability and chopping power.

We engineered this model from the ground up to be the king of all bowies. With a 13.3in blade that flares to a whopping 2.4in at its widest point, the Tyrant Bowie dwarfs the competition.
Even with its impressive dimensions, the Tyrant Bowie is still well balanced, nimble, and suitable for knife tasks like carving, food prep, and fire starting. When it comes to chopping, this thing packs a serious punch despite its light weight frame.
Featuring possibly the largest swedge ever done on a production knife, the the tip of Tyrant Bowie gracefully transitions to a natural distal taper keeping the tip light and snappy for brush clearing.
Available in Z Tuff with an optimal heat treat, the Tyrant can take a beating without edge damage.
